The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) shares daily Air Quality Index (AQI) forecasts for the Austin region, and highlights days when ozone or fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels are expected to reach levels "unhealthy for sensitive groups". For ozone, TCEQ announces these as Ozone Action Days alerts, but there are not currently official announcements for high PM2.5 days.
